Development Steps and Services
Thank you for choosing the City of Greenville for your development project. Our goal is to provide a seamless transition from project concept to construction. The following steps will organize your development project into various phases. If you click on the name of the step, a summary document with an application and checklist will open in a separate window. We offer a Pre-Application meeting every Thursday morning as a tool for you to present concepts to the Development Review Team for comments and direction.

Please see the submittal deadlines and scheduling for the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council below. As a benefit to you, many of our development submittals can be approved administratively. Information discussed at the Pre-Application meeting will determine whether your submittal is eligible for administrative approval.
