This arts and crafts festival will feature hand-made items like pottery, jewelry, wood-working, paintings, fused glass, mosaic tile art, quilts, candles, soaps and much more! Proceeds benefit the Museum's exhibits and educational activities. Funding for this event is provided in part by the City of Greenville Hotel/Motel Occupancy Tax Revenues.

The primary goals of the program are to help young adults choose a career path within fire and emergency services and to challenge them to become responsible citizens of their communities and country. Meetings are one evening a month and one Saturday a month. (1st Saturday and previous Wednesday). The Fire & Emergency Service Career Exploring program is very affordable with participation fees at $25 per year (pro-rated). Special activities, uniforms, events, leadership academies and conferences may cost more and would be determined by the local Exploring post. Scholarships and fundraising opportunities by the Post are available!

    The Greenville Parks and Recreation Department, Greenville High School, and Boys & Girls Club of Hunt County have partnered again this year to bring the community youth together in a fun and active environment. Camps include Girl's Basketball, Girl's Softball, Boy's Basketball, Tennis, Girl's Volleyball, and Football. All campers will receive a t-shirt, tote bag, and professional instruction from Greenville ISD coaches.     Follow in the footsteps of the latest trend and relive those favorite childhood memories by playing adult kickball. Games will be played at the Greenville SportsPark on Friday nights. The Parks and Recreation Department provides all equipment and officials. A minimum of 9 players per team is required. Players must be ages 16 and up to participate in adult leagues. Co-ed teams should have four males and four females on the field.

    The City of Greenville offers volleyball leagues designed for girls between the ages of 7 and 12. Youth volleyball enhances leadership and teamwork skills as well as coordination and basic understanding of volleyball and its components.Teams consist of 6 - 12 players and are sanctioned with the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation. Fall divisions will include 8U, 10U - 2 Hit League, and 12U - 2 Hit League. Game days will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at the Reecy Davis Recreation Center. Cost per child is $35 and includes a team uniform.
