H1N1 FLU INFORMATION
The City of Greenville, and the Texas Department of State Health Services are concerned about the H1N1 Flu Virus. Confirmed cases of H1N1 Flu have already been reported in Hunt County.

The State and Federal Government have created special website with more information on the H1N1 Flu situation:

Flu.gov

Texas Flu.org

What to Do
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.  Throw the tissue away after you use it.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze.  Alcohol-based hand cleaners are also effective.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.  Germs spread this way.
  • Try to avoid contact with sick people.
  • If you get sick, CDC recommends that you stay home from work or school and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.
  • If you experience flu-like symptoms, you may want to contact your health care provider, to determine if influenza testing or treatment is needed.
