Annual Downtown Christmas Parade
The annual Downtown Christmas Parade is held on the first Friday in December and begins at 7:00 pm The 2009 parade will take place on Friday, December 4. The theme for 2009 is
Christmas Classics.

Lights & Decorations
All floats must have holiday decorations and lighting
Santa
No live Santa
Candy
For safety, no candy or other items may be thrown into the crowd
Staging
- Staging area is on Jordan Street (vehicles facing east)
- Enter Jordan Street from Johnson Street
- Antique cars and floats will be staged together and the parade line-up will be in the order of arrival
- Everyone must arrive and be in the staging area prior to 6:00 pm due to street barricades
- No vehicles allowed on Jordan Street except for those in the parade
Animals
- All animals will be at the end of the parade
- Staging area for animals is the grassy area off of Jordan Street, between Stuart Street and Gordon Street
- Enter this area from the north, on Stuart Street
Judging
Judging begins at 6:00 pm - have decorations lit
